Graduation Requirements
Each year, state legislation changes the requirements for our students. Here is a website with the full Graduation Requirements. Below you will find a general synopsis of graduation requirements for current 9-12 students.
Adult Education
Does your child (16 years and older) need to make up credits in order to graduate on time. Make sure they attend Adult Education. It takes place on Tuesday & Wednesday from 2:00-5:15 in Room C25. Students must sign up with their counselor before they can attend. Make An Appointment

Mathematics |
4 credits Beginning in 2011–2012 (Entered High School) 1 credit in Algebra 1 by passing the EOC assessment 1 credit in Geometry (EOC 30% of grade)
2012–2013 and beyond 1 credit in Algebra 1 by passing the EOC assessment 1 credit in Geometry ( EOC 30 % of Grade) 1 credit in Algebra 2

Science |
3 credits Beginning in 2011–2012 (Entered High School) 1 credit in Biology (EOC 30%of Grade)
2013–2014 and beyond (Entered High School) 1 credit in Biology (EOC 30% of grade) 1 credit in Chemistry or Physics or its equivalent

Social Studies |
3 credits 1 credit in World History 1 credit in United States History (EOC 30% of grade) .5 credit in United States Government .5 credit in Economics

24-Credit Program |
1 credit in Fine or Performing Arts, Speech and Debate, or Practical Arts 1 credit in physical education to include the integration of health 8 electives |
In addition all students must:

Earn a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Achieve a passing score on the FCAT 2.0 Reading
